About me

Welcome to my illustration world! I’m Marina and I like to draw. I come from Serbia where alongside Latin, we also use Cyrillic alphabet. My name in Cyrillic is written Марина, which to many people who are not familiar with this alphabet looks like Mapuha!

I mostly draw inspiration from the precision of academic and technical illustrations, and I enjoy making each illustration detailed and sharp. While ink remains my primary medium, I also do digital art and watercolor. Themes of botanics and nature are often the main theme of my illustrations. Nature is a never-ending source of inspiration for me!

Outside of the illustration realm, I am an urban/landscape designer deeply passionate about preserving nature and fostering sustainability. I believe that by creating harmony between human habitats and the natural world, we can forge a better future for ourselves and the planet we call home.

Currently I am working on opening a shop that will feature various paper products featuring my illustrations, but also crochet designs that are inspired by nature. Stay tuned to discover what is coming!
